Jennifer Angelone

Master’s Level Intern

Jennifer Angelone is a licensed mental health clinician and has been working in the mental health field for the last 15 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Maryland and then went onto receive her master’s degree from Assumption College specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child and Family Therapy. She additionally has advanced graduate certificates from Cornell University in Women Leadership and Wellness Coaching. She is an active volunteer and chapter coordinator for The Mended Hearts Inc., national organization supporting other heart patients and their families and recently chartered a group for young adults through the Young Mended Hearts® program.

Jennifer has her own private practice that offers individual, family, and sibling outpatient mental health therapy as well as sound healing. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach was a blend of strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral; but the most important element was the therapeutic relationship and providing a space that was safe, loving, joyful, and empowering.

Outside of work, Jennifer is a dance performer with a local adult dance company, enjoys watching all kinds of movies, watercolor painting, or just snuggling on the couch with her two cats (Sonny and Mo) and a cup of coffee.
