Deanna Smith

Master’s Level Intern

Deanna Smith is a masters level therapy intern. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is pursing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College.

Her therapeutic style is collaborative and rooted in a deep reverence for life. She weaves evidence-based practices into a holistic and intuitive approach, creating a space where clients feel safe to reconnect with their inner wisdom, explore internal conflict with self-compassion, and increase self-awareness, self-efficacy, and authenticity. She honors the body’s wisdom and the inherent magic of cycles and transitions. She believes creativity and play are essential for healing, and welcomes these elements into the therapeutic space. Having lived nomadically in various regions, she brings a unique perspective and regard for nuance to her work. She approaches therapy from the belief that life has no limits, only opportunities, and is honored to hold space for you to move toward greater authenticity and joy.

She offers sessions via telehealth and in-person at Life Centered Therapy in Waltham and Watertown, MA.
