Andrew Hahn
Founder
“I am passionate about helping people live free from suffering, and to have joy and inner peace”.
Andrew Hahn, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and trauma therapist in Waltham, MA. He earned his A.B., Magna Cum Laude, in Social Studies/Psychology from Harvard University and his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University. He is certified by Helen Palmer to teach the Enneagram and has served on the faculty of graduate Counseling Programs at Lesley University and Northeastern University.
Dr. Hahn specializes in trauma-informed therapy, helping individuals and couples address anxiety, PTSD, depression, and relationship challenges. He is recognized as a licensed trauma specialist, providing compassionate care for those seeking effective, local support.
While Dr. Hahn’s strong foundation and extensive experience in traditional psychology has served his clients well, he has been untiring in his effort to better understand human suffering—so that he can help people live more contented and healthier lives. This calling for greater understanding, along with certain experiences that could not be fully explained within the limits of Western paradigms, led him to explore Buddhist and Eastern Psychology, Mystery Trainings, and Depth, Archetypal, and Spiritual Psychology. During this journey, teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Brugh Joy, Dick Olney, Helen Palmer, Barbara Hastings, and Claudio Naranjo were particularly influential.
As that period was ending, he began working with Judith Swack, developer of Healing from the Body Level Up. Their collaboration integrated Kinesiology, research on Violence and Loss Traumas, and Energy Psychology—creating the foundation for what is now known as Life Centered Therapy.
In 1997, after years of witnessing the power of this work, Dr. Hahn developed the Life Centered Therapy Training Program for those who wish to facilitate and teach the process. Today, Dr. Hahn maintains a private practice in Waltham, MA, where he works with individuals, couples, and groups. His work addresses a wide range of challenges—including anxiety, PTSD, depression, and relationship concerns—and provides a mind-body-spirit approach to healing. He also speaks, teaches, and leads trainings and healing groups internationally, continuing his lifelong mission to help people find relief, resilience, and deeper fulfillment in their lives.
