Emma Hopfmann
Master’s Level Intern
Emma’s therapeutic approach is grounded in a trauma-informed framework and integrates mindfulness-based practices with narrative therapy, with aspects of art therapy. She believes each person’s story is unique and works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing in a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment. In her spare time, Emma enjoys hiking, yoga and meditation, art, and spending time with her cat.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including schools, residential programs, and outpatient mental health services. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, adjustment challenges, and the lasting effects of family trauma.
Emma is a master’s-level clinician at Life Centered Therapy who is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change. She earned her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Emmanuel College and her M.S. degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Adjustment Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
