Britany Wise

Master’s Level Intern

Britany Wise’s therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and integrative. She believes healing happens when individuals are provided a safe space to show up authentically, explore their experiences without judgment, and develop greater trust in themselves and their ability to navigate life’s challenges. Britany values honesty, transparency, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship and views therapy as a partnership built on mutual respect, curiosity, and growth. In addition to the Life Centered Therapy approach, she draws from modalities including EMDR, attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, mindfulness, somatic therapies, art-based interventions, Energy Psychology, and humanistic-existential approaches.

Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, veterans, and neurodivergent individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and spiritual or existential questions. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming, gender-affirming, kink-affirming, and polyamory/ethical non-monogamy affirming, and strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and accepted for who they are. While she is not currently accepting new clients, she is accepting individuals to her waitlist for future remote therapy openings.

Britany earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) and is currently working toward licensure. She is currently completing advanced training in Brainspotting and Integrative Somatic Processing (ISP), is certified in yoga and meditation instruction, and has additional training in psychospiritual, transpersonal, and shamanic approaches to healing. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys gaming, anime, photography, art, creative writing, and exploring nature with her service dog, Mishka.
